Follow up and travel

So, back again after a rather lengthy absence. What can I say? Nothing worth writing about was going on.

So, lets start with a follow up to the schedules post, shall we?

I might just have a NoBloPoMo

My good friend Judy mentioned in one of her posts recently that it seems many bloggers are taking a break from writing - all for a variety of reasons. She suggested that maybe we all need a NoBloPoMo (a No Blog Posting Month)...

... I might just have one right about now.

It's not that I don't want to blog or that I don't have things to say/express/share, it's more about the timing, or the lack of time I'm going to have for to blogging in the upcoming month.

Donate Life AZ License Plate

While we vacationed in Arizona over the holidays, I happened to see a vehicle in a parking lot that had the actual Donate Life official symbol on the license plate!

Smile!

I took a cue from the comments on "I'm Not Contagious (You Are!)" and had a little fun with my on-board/in-flight face mask...

No Matter How Hard I Try..

... I can't pass up free Wi-Fi at the Phoenix airport.

I'm Not Contagious (You Are)

Tomorrow we fly home to Florida (Boo!) I wonder how many 'looks' I'll get when I wear my face mask on the airplane? I'm more than 6 months post-transplant, but I ain't takin' any risks in a germ-infected airspace and a lower than average WBC count.

Hey, I'm not contagious, YOU are.

The Vaycay is Almost Over

My vacation is quickly coming to an end (we fly home on Saturday) even though I'd love to stay for another month (or year or 10...) This year, however, I don't need to balance my return trip with a crazy dialysis commitment!

Upcoming: 365 Days of Posts

I participated in NaBloPoMo 2007 and now I’m going for the ultimate blogging challenge from NaBloPoMo’s sister site, Blog 365: to blog every day in 2008 and to have at least 365 blog posts...

2007's Holiday Travel, Dialysis Not Included

We spend every Christmas in Flagstaff, Arizona - as far away from the heat and humidity of Florida as possible. This holiday is the first time I've traveled post-transplant and the first time in over four years that I haven't had to make travel dialysis arrangements in advance.

I keep holding my breath as if (tomorrow, the next day, or the next) I'll have to be heading off to a treatment in the middle of vacation...
