Cowboy, Take Me Away

ETA: The title of this entry? Absolutely nothing to do with it. I was lacking for a title and Cowboy, Take Me Away was playing on my iTunes, so, there you go.

I officially hate the internet. I had a lovely journal about how I'm a freak all written up and then I did something and the whole thing disappeared. What a rip!

Of course, looking back on the entry, it was really just me bragging about how I kicked ass in university, despite being on dialysis.

Since I don't have the want to write it all up again, you people are going to get some FUNNEH STORIES! from my Dialyse This journal.

So, I'm chillin', minding my own business when this comes over the speakers:

Code blue in the forensic mental health wing.

My first thought was "Uh oh! I hope they remembered it's "Down the road." not "Across the street."

Some time later:
Blood bank to ####.

Yes, I sat in my little chair and giggled.

Oh yeah, Hell, Party of one?

Honestly? It's the simple things in life.

Originally posted. . . Some time in August?

So, the CLE (Canadian Lakehead Exhibition) comes to town every August. It's like a big county fair, I guess. Rides, bad food, livestock and vegetable competitions etc. Well, last year I agreed to help someone I babysit for take her 3 girls to the CLE.

Of course, stupid me agreed to do this the night after going to a friends brother's wedding and drinking my face off.

Are we ready for the really, really stupid part of all of this? I WENT ON THE THRILL RIDES!! Yeah. Go team me.

Of course, I feel a need to share the night's/days events with my fave Super Nurse. Because I'm co-dependent and needy like that. . .

"So, you know what I did after this night of drinking?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"You. . . drank some more?" Super Nurse asked with a smile of her own. I shook my head and chuckled.

"I went to the CLE." Super Nurse pauses and looks at me. I assure her that I'm not kidding.

"You are wild! I wanna party with you!" she exclaimed with a smile as she stood up and headed to her side of the floor, still shaking her head.

Gooooooooooooooood times!
